Virtual Fences

Draw the Boundary Before They Cross It

A virtual fence is a safe area you create in the PetOffers app. It can be your home, garden, campsite, boarding location, or another place where your pet is expected to stay.

If the tracker reports that your pet has left the area, the app can send you an alert.

Three Ways to Create a Safer Area

Bluetooth Safety Distance

Set a close-range connection for walks, visits, or time at home. The app can notify you when the tracker moves beyond the selected Bluetooth range.

Trusted Wi-Fi Zone

Use a known Wi-Fi network as a home or indoor safe zone. This can also help the tracker manage power when your pet is in a familiar place.

Custom Map Boundary

Draw a boundary around a location on the map. Choose a size that gives the tracker enough room to account for normal positioning variation.

Give the Boundary Some Breathing Room

Satellite and network locations naturally shift. A fence drawn too tightly around a building or yard may create unnecessary alerts.

Start with a slightly wider area, test it with your pet safely beside you, and adjust from there.

A virtual fence is an alerting tool. It is not a physical barrier and cannot stop a pet from leaving.
